Au Marché With Paris Chef Philippe Engammare

After 1 month, 16 photo shoots and a wedding in the U.S., I’m back in France.  Before I left, I met with Parisian chef Philippe Engammare at the Antony marché.  Philippe is a very talented personal chef and cooking teacher.

“Je suis moi dans la cuisine.”   Philippe Engammare

The marché, or farmer’s market in English, is one of my favorite French traditions.  The Antony marché is the largest farmer’s market in the Hauts-de-Seine département of France.  Open 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday), this marché has everything…

gorgeous fruits and vegetables

cœur de bœuf

beaucoup de fromages…

crème fraiche

friendly vendors…

Philippe  is a  regular at the Antony marché.  In addition to being a personal chef, Philippe also offers cooking lessons in your own kitchen.  If you’re interested in learning how to cook, he will visit the marché  with you,  share his secrets for choosing the best foods and then teach you how to prepare an authentic French meal in the comfort of your own home.  How great is that?!  I can personally vouch for Philippe’s gift in the kitchen.  He prepared the most delicious scallops for me.  A meal I will never forget…

So, if you’re visiting or living in Paris, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a cooking lesson by Philippe.  You, and your family, won’t regret it.  Philippe is also available for parties or even a romantique dinner with your amour.  You can visit Philippe’s website here.

xoxo
